SUNDAY ARTISTIC TRIPS

From September 21st to December 14th, the Szwalnia Theatre invites you to Sunday Artistic Journeys – a series of free weekly workshops for children aged 6-8. We invite young culture enthusiasts on a journey filled with movement, sound, and the discovery of the satisfaction of creating together. The sessions will be held as part of the Szwalnia Nowa project, whose program is based on seeking peace, understood as a mental state that allows for the building of authentic, close relationships based on dialogue.

We want to create a space for self-expression, conversations about emotions and the right to experience them through simple acting, music and art tasks.

Registration for workshops: 665 338 171 and teatrszwalnia@teatrszwalnia.pl

ŁÓDŹ POLYVOICE

"WIELOGŁOS" is a multi-month workshop aimed at involving foreign residents in building attitudes of active participation in culture among foreigners living in Łódź, by creating a space for integration and cultural exchange, establishing and building local social relations and mutual support by opening the Theatre space to proposals and joint activities, multi-contextual presentation of cultures, histories, "close" narratives in line with the idea of a close encounter (Szwalnia's slogan is #theatreclosecontact)

The program offers foreigners a safe and relaxed space to express themselves, explore their experiences in Łódź and share them with the local community. The workshop highlights the importance of their contribution to the life of the city, creating an opportunity to build new intercultural bridges.

In the context of the growing number of international residents, "WIELOGŁOS" is intended to be a platform for dialogue that celebrates diversity and helps create a shared, multi-voiced narrative about contemporary Łódź. Thanks to this project, the city is even more clearly emphasizing its openness to the world and showing that multiculturalism is a strength that can be creatively developed.

The Nowa Szwalnia project is being implemented thanks to funding from the budget of the City of Łódź.
