About The Event
The performance "TragedJA" was created as part of the Szwalnia Nowa project, a result of theatre workshops for the residents of the Monar Centre in Łódź. Based on the structure of a Greek tragedy, the story explores the process of addiction, revealing the factors that lead to addiction and the process of escaping it through creativity and the strength of a supportive community. This narrative is woven from the personal experiences and emotions of the main characters, the workshop participants, and resonates through songs, dances, and poems they themselves wrote.
